Sales & Business Development Growth Executives
CANRVE's Sales & Business Development Growth Executive teams are the eyes and ears of the company! We support all departments in everything that is required to mobilize all projects and develop long-lasting relationships with our cannabis friendly homeowners, our hoteliers/bed & breakfast owners, the very creative experience providers, dispensary partners, medical marijuana doctors, event venues and the culinary cannabis journeys we find! Our daily routine varies from day to day; sales and business development growth executives may not always be meeting with the same client or in the same place or even selling the same product or service.  The overarching idea is to always build connections and sell the CANRVE’s products or services.  A typical day could consist of few calls in the morning to either potential customers or repeat customers. We meet every Monday to go over what the focuses are for the week! Education is paramount. 
Being organized at CANRVE is the number one rule to being an effective sales and business growth executive - your day consists of discovery calls, research, platform demos, follow-up calls, training, and much more. Although your title entails being in the field most of the time, the best representatives are able to manage both in-house and field work.
Our team is filled with positive energy, creativity, fun, and are always looking to up the day before with a new goal! Our time is precious so we manage this carefully! We communicate with each other daily and consistently. Oh, and we are all very competitive.  Besides, we get paid by the listings we garner for the company, and it is a straight commission, but what a fun way to make some extra money! We do this via phone, in person, or just hanging with our listers! We treasure our listers and guests!  
 
As part of the sales and business development executive team, you must understand how to drive results from your everyday contact with our potential listers. We are a startup but will mold you into experts and open future growth opportunities within the team here at CANRVE. The sales and business development executive team delivers success!

Your Role
 
You are responsible for:
 
  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
  • Cultivate and develop relationships with new + old listers for homeowners, hotel/bed & breakfast representatives, experience providers, event venues, dispensaries, medical marijuana doctors, cannabis kitchens, restaurants, cafes, lounges, and cannabis chefs in your territories. 
  • Persuade and negotiate listings by all above potential partners.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or lister's accounts.
  • Educate listers on how CANRVE's platform or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Sell the CANRVE’s products or services to listers and potential customers within your given territory
  • Monitor CANRVE’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand our customer's specific needs.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand.
  • Represent the CANRVE brand in a professional, casual, fun, honest, respectful and authentic way.
  • Uphold standards and best practices by CANRVE.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Sales and Business Growth Executives should have 1-2 years in territory sales and promotional marketing, and/or any equivalent experience that demonstrates expertise in customer engagement. Or, you are a go-getter and want a chance to prove yourself!

 

We value a well-developed phone presence and high comfort level in initiating conversations which is essential to fulfilling the daily duties of a sales and business growth executive. It is important to have a social and positive personality, however, the sales and business growth executive must be self-starters and proactive problem solvers, since not all days are created equal and the CANRVE landscape setting is constantly changing.
